Thai D’or

When do I forget to take photos of food?! I managed to take one pic, of a bowl of Tom Yam (Pak) – mushrooms, exotic spices and galanga in a hot and sour broth. SO good. Perfect amount of heat (3 out of a 5 heat level).

We were so hungry, when the dishes landed on the table, we dug in – no thought to photos. And wow, was it ever good! As an appetizer, we shared House Special Spring Rolls (4 per order) – Minced vegetables, vermicelli noodles served with house sauce.

I ordered Chicken Cashew Nuts – Sauteed chicken with cashew nuts, onions, carrots, celery and bell peppers… one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! Ev–er. The veg was perfectly cooked, still a little crunchy.

I also ordered Pad Thai (Vegetarian) – noodle dish with egg, mix vegetables and ground peanuts. It was tasty.

My comrades ordered Coconut Rice and a couple other dishes including Pa Naeng – Spicy, coconut milk in red curry with bell peppers, lime leaves, sweet basil leaves and a choice of Pak (Vegetarian). Thumbs up across the board!

And I enjoyed my delicious Corona w/lime – went perfectly with the meal. <grin>

10 out of 10 for the grub. SO good!
